Terms

These are the terms for work done under the Rebar name by Ascendlink Technologies Private Limited, Gurugram, India. Each job also has a written quote; if the two ever disagree, the quote wins.

  1. 01

    The quote

Every job starts with a written quote: what’s wrong, what I’ll change, the fixed price and the time. Work outside the quote is only done after you agree a new price in writing.

  2. 02

    When it counts as done

Before I start, we agree one test in plain words, like “a test card payment unlocks the Pro plan”. When that passes on your live app, it works.

  3. 03

    Paying

You get an invoice in USD. Pay by card or bank transfer.

Single fixes: invoiced after you’ve checked the fix on your live app. If I can’t make the agreed test pass, you owe nothing.

Pre-launch review: paid when I start. If it finds nothing worth fixing, you get your money back.

Launch-ready sprint: half when I start, half when you’ve checked the result.

Move off the builder: paid in three parts, after the plan, after the move, after launch.

  4. 04

    If it breaks again

If the agreed test fails again within 14 days because of something I changed, I fix it at no charge. New changes made by you or your AI tool after handover are not covered.

  5. 05

    Your code

Everything I write for your app belongs to you once the job is paid, and it lives on your GitHub, not mine. I don’t reuse your code or data for anyone else.

  6. 06

    Access and confidentiality

You decide what access to give and you can remove it at any time. I use it only for the agreed job, keep what I see confidential, and sign your NDA if you send one. Never send passwords or secret keys over chat or email.

  7. 07

    Limits

My total responsibility for a job is limited to what you paid for that job. I’m not responsible for outages or changes at the platforms your app runs on, such as Lovable, Supabase, Stripe or your host.

  8. 08

    Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Gurugram, Haryana. Questions: akshit@getrebar.us.
